Regeneration doesn’t mean much without the data to prove it. But what data to collect, when, where and how is a hotly debated subject. From this page, you can access our CoolBlueFuture community on Zenodo<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The community is a selection of voluntarily uploaded datasets by regenerative ocean farmers. The plan is to use these to eventually make a map of cultivation sites. That way, we can build an international picture of where ocean regeneration is taking place, while tracking its impact over time.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Once we know what’s being monitored and how, methods and equipment can be standardised to make the data cross-comparable. \n\t\t\tCase study: Plants Beyond Land (PEBL)\t<\/h3>\n\t

Plants Beyond Land (PEBL) is a British community interest company (similar to a non-profit cooperative) which developes low-tech, accessible monitoring equipment and services for regenerative ocean farmers.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Their mission is to empower all marine operators with data that provide actionable insights, deepen scientific understanding and ultimately safeguard ecosystems. They achieve this with\u00a0a range of robust, cost-effective and user-friendly monitoring tools.\u00a0<\/p>\n
