Jonas and Anita from Aktion Österbotten (Finland)

Jonas and Anita are pioneers in growing marine crops in areas with very low salinity. They work both with freshwater mussel dredging in the sea off the Finnish coast and with floating gardens where they grow cattail and other edible plants near the coast. The ambition is to come up with practical tools and approaches that can help regenerative marine cultivation spread along the Finnish coastline.
